Biological Industries is a cell culture media developer and manufacturer located in Kibbutz Beit Haemek, Israel. In 2019, majority stake in Biological Industries (BI) was acquired by Sartorius, a global life sciences and biopharmaceutical company located in Germany. Members of the Captivate Bio team served in leadership positions of Biological Industries USA (BI-USA), a subsidiary of BI, helping lead the company to historic sales growth within the stem cell and cell therapy research markets. In late 2020, BI-USA merged with Sartorius.
Captivate Bio distributes many of Biological Industries’ cell culture media products within US research markets, helping to simplify the import and distribution process for customers looking to gain access to media and reagents from Israel.
