For ordering online, customers in the U.S. and Canada can Create an Account or Login to place an order. Payment options include credit card (VISA, MasterCard, or American Express) or purchase order if your online account has been approved with terms. If this is your first time using a purchase order with us, please call our Customer Service team to register your account at (617) 607-4017. Please allow 24-48 hours to finalize account setup.
The username is your email address and you can use the Reset Password link to obtain a new password. The new password will be emailed to you. After you log in, make sure you update your password under the My Account page.
For organizations who are tax exempt, please submit a copy of your tax exemption certificate and request to Captivate Bio at the time of order by emailing orders@captivatebio.com. Please allow 2-4 days for account approval, once approved, you will be able to see your tax-exempt status during checkout online.
Yes, for online accounts, you can manage your billing and shipping addresses through the Shipping & Billing section on the My Account page. For orders placed through PO or procurement systems, please contact our customer service team directly by emailing orders@captivatebio.com.
Yes, depending on the type of your inquiry we may offer a free sample for validation purposes only. However, please note we will charge a shipping and handling fee. Please contact our customer service team at orders@captivatebio.com for more information.
Yes, for select products like FBS, we offer lot testing and lot reservation programs. Customers may request to hold a specific lot for us to 14 days while testing is conducted before selecting a lot.
Currently Captivate Bio only offers liquid media formulations in our standard catalog. However, we do have partnerships that may be able to source and supply the powder formulation you are looking for. Please contact our Customer Service team for more information.
Yes, we currently work with several customers located all around the world to include Europe, Asia, Canada, the Middle East, and South America. We also work closely with distributors located in China and Poland.
All Captivate Bio products are manufactured following cGMP guidelines in ISO-certified facilities. Standard quality testing includes sterility, pH, osmolality, endotoxin, mycoplasma, and in some cases cell growth assays. All products include a Certificate of Analysis (CofA). Custom products include standard testing.
Yes. Contact our customer service team to get started or learn more about our custom media services on our website. We specialize in 350L batches with 4-6 week turns. Services include making common basal media and salt solutions in various packaging as well as your making your custom formulation.
We typically provide on-demand media manufacturing for classical formulations within 4-8 weeks. However, depending on the complexity of ingredients and protocol, some production timelines may extend out to 8-12 weeks.
We ship products at ambient temperature, on dry ice, or ice packs depending on the product. An indication of the storage and shipping conditions for each product is provided on the detailed product descriptions on our website. If you require a specific shipping method, please contact our customer service team and request any special requirements at time of order.
For domestic and international shipments, we currently ship using FedEx standard and overnight for temperature sensitive shipments and FedEx ground for ambient temperature products. Please note that shipping rates are determined at time of order and cover shipping fees and handling fees using Captivate Bio’s FedEx account. If you would like to use your own FedEx shipping account number, please call our customer service team to place your order directly. All online orders will have a shipping fee and handling fee included at time of order.
